So I was playing around in Arkham City when I noticed that towards the end of a fight Batman clearly kills someone by bashing their head against a concrete banister. Just thought I would share…..

I have this friend who for the sake of anonymity I am going to call Joe Stay. Now Joe does not really like batman. In fact Joe pretty much hates batman. I remember that when Arkham Asylum came out I had to buy him a copy just to try to get him to play. Not only did he not play it but just to show how much he hated the thought of being the batman he burned the damn thing on my door step.
So with the release of Arkham City I got to thinking, why exactly does Joe hate Batman so much? And then the answer hit me. I AM THE BATMAN!!!!! Now certainly that sudden realization would not seem to answer the question of why Joe hates Batman so much but it in fact sorta does.
See when Joe plays a batman game he is playing as the batman, when I play a batman game I AM the batman. It is a subtle distinction, but an important one and probably also one tied to classification of certain mental disorders but that is neither here nor there. The point is that tuning forks just do not make practical eating utensils and I would prefer they be renamed to tuning prongs.
